Flower Surprise in Rocks:
You will need:
Paperwhite Bulbs (Local garden store should have these, Narcissus tazetta)
Shallow Bowl
Gravel, small rocks or marbles
Add your gravel or marbles to the bowl but keep the level below the edge of the bowl.
Set the paperwhite bulbs on top of them with the points up.
Fill the bowl with water until it is just touching the base of the bulbs.
Check level of water every day and keep it at this level
Don’t allow the bulbs to dry out.
Place the bowl in a cool dark place until you see growth then move to a warm bright spot.
You will start to see green growth in a few days and have blossoms in 4 to 6 weeks.
