Zone Map

To determine if a plant will survive in your climate, locate your home on the map. This will give you the zone for your area. Plants will usually have indicators as to which zones they will grow well in. e.g. a plant book will give this information. The zones are approximately 10 degrees lower or higher, (average low temperature), than the adjacent zone.
